Sorry for the non-medical post today….but after the startling (to me at least) death of Pink Floyd keyboard player, Richard Wright’s death two months ago, I was stunned again to read of the passing of drumming legend, Mitch Mitchell. The drummer of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, he was on tour with an Experience tribute tour when he was found dead, of apparently natural causes, in his Portland, Oregon hotel room. Sad indeed.
Growing up, I loved the Experience, Pink Floyd, The Who, (still do) and it is sad to see members of these bands dying before their time (Mitchell was only 62).
You know you are getting old when that starts to happen!
