Dear Anglers

Ok anglers, I know that the fish bite better when the evening cools off and it starts to get dark.
However, fishing then comes with some peril. Namely if you are wading in to fly fish, be careful you don’t impale your finger with the hook in the dark, yell in pain, lose your balance, and fall into the deep part of the river.
You’ll be lucky you didn’t drown and only escaped soaking wet with a hook in your finger!

Yikes, hope you are all right and that the fish are still afraid of you.

The ER up at Providence in Anchorage AK has a whole wall of hooks etc. that they have pulled out of people. Call them up and ask them to take a picture for you. It’s awesome. It may also make you feel better.

Disclaimer-it’s also the Children’s Hospital so I ended up there with a sick kid the first year we were stationed there.

The fish need a good laugh.
