The three most notable penile foreign bodies I’ve seen:
a) a dime (yes, apparently it stretches that much)
b) a spiral coiled cell phone antenna
and c) a bic round stic pen (in this last case, the patient claimed to have no idea why he couldn’t pee, and thought it might be related to a fall onto the crossbar of his bike a couple of days earlier. Riiiiight.)

Oh my god! I can’t begin to imagine how much that would hurt. How in the world did the kid manage to keep going through all the pain? It’s hard to think of something more painful. I’m still cringing.

At the end of a Pathophysiology lecture on Urinary Tract disorders, my professor slaps up an X-ray of someone’s bladder. Visible inside are a set of ear bud headphones. She didn’t explain how they got there, but I imagine there’s only one way that would work…

had a guy who cut top of plastic coke bottle, inserted penis through (coke end), penis coming out top
erection,cycled of oedema, reduced v return, ischaemia > yuk
ice,sharp instruments near oedematous,ischaemic tissue..
luckily fire dept comes in with special tools
also they tell you to watch out for involuntary ejaculations that can happen
in such cases esp. scrotal “rings”

I took care of a similar case - except the foreign bodies were q-tips (like 5 or 6). poor kid lost a testicle on that one.

Sounding isn’t all that unusual, I mean not mainstream but not unheard of in other cultures. Too bad we don’t know what he was thinking.
